The play Romeo and Juliet takes place in Verona, Italy. There are two conflicting families, the Capulets, and the Montagues. They have had problems with each other for many years. And it just so happens that Romeo is From the Montagues, and Juliet is from the Capulets. It starts off with Romeo lovesick over a girl named Rosaline. Then Romeo and his buddies go over to the Capulet party, and have plans to crash this party. He sees Juliet and immediately falls in love with her. Later they get married and many conflicts arise. Romeo's dearest friend and Juliet's cousin both are murdered. Romeo is banished from Verona, and goes to live in Mantua. Juliet's parents are not aware of the marriage and force Juliet to marry Count Paris. A man named Friar Lawerance, who is a good friend of Romeo, comes up with a clever plan for Juliet to escape marrying Paris. This plan does not go as planned and ends up with the death of these two lovers.
